 Micha Petty founded this company because he believed that if something is worth doing- it's worth doing right!  That saying is a cliché, but it is as true now as ever.  Are you sick of going places and finding that everywhere you go, people are just going through the motions of doing their job without ever taking the time to care?  Well, this is one company that does care.  These days, that makes us different.

Another benefit of dealing with A Time to Build is our sheer versatility.  Most service companies have a few tools that help them do a few specialized things-- but not A Time to Build.  We have nearly every kind of tool that all of the local tool stores and home centers sell- and we know how to use them!  Do you have a long and varied to-do list?  Perfect!  Call us!  We can give you one quote for the whole thing, instead of you having to set up appointments with several different companies who all specialize is one aspect of your repair and maintenance needs.  What a relief!  Of course there will be some things we are not set up to do, but our business model is such that if we can't do it, we will get someone to you who can! 

Micha has spent years in the Shreveport area meeting  local contractors- and watching for who does good work and who does not.  We can take some of the risk out of home improvements.  Everyone has heard horror stories from friends or on the news about contracts that went sour.  A Time to Build has never had that happen, and absolutely does not work with or subcontract to companies who are not fully legal and accountable.  There ARE still good service providers out there, and we know them!
